KINROSS DUNCAN McCLOUD
blue silver mactabby van male
Dear Duncan:
You are a very special little kitty, and have certainly brightened our lives during your first 15 weeks of life.
From the first moment you made your appurr-rance on October 29, 1999, you have embraced life with open paws. I remember vividly the first hour of your life, when we were waiting for your brother Wullie to be born. You refused to stay in the nice warm nest we made for you. A mere 4 ounces and an hour old, you were hungry and determined to find your mama, so you climbed out of the nest and found her all by yourself, amazing everyone around.
We will miss you, Duncan; we'll miss your spunk, your energy and loving acceptance of everyone. You have taught us to embrace life and take pleasure in everyday things like falling snowflakes and crumpled paper. Your beautiful eyes take in everything; your quick energy inspires playfulness both in us and in the other cats.
Although it's hard to say goodbye, we know you will have a wonderful life with a family who fell in love with you when you were very small, and they are looking forward to sharing their lives with you. You will miss us for awhile, and your mother and brother, too. Things will be new -- new home, a new bed, new toys and new hands to hold you. But don't be afraid because these new hands are eager to love you. In a short time, you will understand and accept them and love them.
Have a good life, Duncan, We were privileged to be part of your life for a short time. Tell your people to keep in touch with us, as you will always be a part of our extended family.
With all our love.

Special Note: Duncan had this picture in the Cats 2001 - Page A Day Calendar on December 11, 2001.
Duncan now lives in Oakville, Ontario, with Ken & Lynda. This is what he looks like now.

CH KINROSS OOR WULLIE
blue & white male
The name "Oor Wullie"
is Scottish for "our Willie."
Dear Wullie: What a wonderful boy you've turned out to be! Your elegance at the shows, with your wide expressive eyes won the hearts of many judges! We were so proud when you won 3rd Best of the Best Kitten in Show at your very second show you attended!
I will never forget the day that your tail caught fire. I grabbed you so fast to put the fire out, that I was afraid you would try to run away. But you didn't even know what was happening. You taught me NEVER to leave a burning candle unattended.
You are now living another one of your lives, apart from your mother and father, brothers and sisters. We know you will be loved at your new home. Maybe we'll see you at a show one of these days!
Wullie now lives with Jackie in Dublin, Ohio.
